Vietnamese Ship Visits Singapore in Show of Friendship
Sailing Ship 286-Le Quy Don of the Vietnam Naval Academy departed from the Nha Trang military port in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa on October 4. The journey is part of a friendly visit to Singapore to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the countries’ diplomatic relations (1973-2023) and the 10th anniversary of their strategic partnership (2013-2023), according to VNA. The voyage serves as a training session for trainees to practice sea navigation, use weapons and equipment, and handle real-life situations, among other activities.
