International Yoga Day: Hanoi Unwinds and Unites

Hanoi joins over 40 cities and provinces across Vietnam in commemorating the 10th International Yoga Day (June 21) with a diverse range of engaging activities. These celebrations were held at the Quan Ngua Sports Complex, the same venue that hosted the inaugural Yoga Day back in 2015. The ancient practice of yoga has seen a surge in popularity in Vietnam, with a growing number of people embracing its physical and mental benefits. This trend reflects a broader global shift towards this ancient Indian tradition, which offers a holistic approach to health and well-being.   Indian diplomacy was on full display at the International Yoga Day celebrations in Vinh Phuc province, with the Deputy Ambassador, Subhash Prasad Gupta, leading the event. Since then, annual yoga performances in Vietnam have strengthened solidarity, friendship, and mutual understanding between Vietnamese and Indian cultures.
