Vietnam’s 11 Goals from the ASEAN Championship: A Group Stage Highlight Reel

Coach Kim Sang Sik’s team has set their sights on the semifinals against Singapore. Vietnam has showcased their offensive prowess in the tournament so far, ranking second in the number of goals scored, just behind Thailand, who have dominated with 18 goals. The team’s striking prowess is evident with naturalized striker Nguyen Xuan Son, and teammates Nguyen Quang Hai and Nguyen Tien Linh, each finding the back of the net twice. Adding to the team’s firepower, Nguyen Van Toan, Nguyen Van Vi, Nguyen Hai Long, Bui Vi Hao, and Doan Ngoc Tan have all contributed with a goal each. The Vietnamese football team touched down in Hanoi earlier today, ahead of their much-anticipated 2024 ASEAN Championship semifinal first leg against Singapore. The team traveled from Phu Tho Province in northern Vietnam to Noi Bai International Airport, ready to take on their opponents. The first of the two-leg semifinal will kick off at 8:00 pm on Thursday at the iconic Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore. This match promises to be a thrilling encounter as both teams battle it out for a spot in the final. The return leg is scheduled for 8:00 pm on December 29 at the Viet Tri Stadium in Phu Tho, giving the Vietnamese side a home advantage. Hanoi and HCM City Prepare for Spring Flower Markets

Hanoi will host 83 flower markets from January 20 to February 9, a week before the Lunar New Year’s Eve. Visitors to the markets can find a wide variety of flowers, ornamental plants, fruit trees, and handicraft products that are typical for the festive season. The markets will be held across the capital, with Hoan Kiem district hosting a traditional flower market on Hang Luoc street in Hang Ma ward.
