Vietnam’s Weather Update (March 3): Persistent Cold in the North

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting reports that cold air is affecting various areas in the North Central and Northwest regions, along with other regions. Inland areas are experiencing a gradual strengthening of the northeast winds to level 3, while coastal areas are facing winds of level 4-5. In the Northeast region, including Hoa Binh, Lao Cai, and Yen Bai, the weather remains very cold, particularly in the mountainous areas. These cold conditions are expected to persist until the weekend. During this cold wave, the temperatures commonly reach lows of 10-13 degrees in the Northeast region, and even drop below 5 degrees in some high mountain areas. Mai Phuong forecasted to be crowned Miss World 2023

Mai Phuong has been ranked first in Pageanthology’s Post-Arrival Top 12, surpassing several strong rivals to secure the top spot. Traveloka and Philippine Airlines Strengthening their Strategic Cooperation

Vietnam athletes offered $1mn for winning Paris Olympic gold medal

The bonuses, which are the biggest rewards ever offered in Vietnam’s sports history, result from a deal signed by the Vietnam Olympic Committee (VOC) and a strategic partner of the International Sports Funding & Support Association (ISF) in South Korea that will sponsor the entire amount.
