The VFF disciplinary committee has issued a national-match ban to five players for their misconduct during a game between Ba Ria-Vung Tau FC and SHB Da Nang FC on December 24, 2020. This match was a part of the Gold Star V. League 2, which is the second-highest tier in the Vietnam football league system, after the V.League 1. The players who have been banned are Tran Ky Anh, Nguyen Son Hai, Le Bang Gia Huy, Nguyen Quang Huy, and Pham Van Phong. Colonel Bui Van Thao, director of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Department of Public Security, stated that investigators filed a request for prosecution against the players for gambling, in accordance with Article 321 of the Criminal Code, in early February. It is the only beach in Vietnam to be named in the list. My Khe Beach, nestled in Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang City, is around two kilometers from the city center.
