Driving about 4km from Bich Dong Pagoda, you will arrive at Thung Nham Bird Park – the home of thousands of birds. Thung Nham is the contiguous place between Hoa Lu district and Gia Vien, Nho Quan, and Tam Diep city districts, which all belong to Ninh Binh . This is considered a hard row to hoe for Vietnam, which are currently 34th on the world ranking and will be playing in the World Cup for the first time. The U.S. are the defending and four-time champions in 1991, 1999, 2015, and 2019 and the number one team on the world ranking, while the Netherlands are eighth. The final team of Group E will be either Thailand, Cameroon and Portugal. Vietnam are one of the six qualified teams in Asia, besides China, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, and hosts Australia. The month-long competition will kick off on July 20, 2023 in Australia and New Zealand – the first co-hosts in the history of the Women’s World Cup. Southeast Asian shooters on first competition day of ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet

The organisers disclose the rules of the competition to all participants. The contest has brought together a total of 420 marksmen from the armed forces of all 10 ASEAN member states, with the athletes competing in the five categories of machine guns, rifles, carbine guns, men’s pistols, and women’s pistols. Cambodian shooters show their talent in the competition. Female shooters only participate in the women’s pistols category.
