The exhibition organised by the Embassy of Israel in Vietnam in collaboration with Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA) enables the Vietnamese fashion world and audience to enjoy works of art that lie on the fine line between consumer products and fantasy produced by Kobi Levi. After graduating from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in 2021, Levi began crafting innovative shoes which made the wearer rethink the world around them. The symbols and concepts that appear in his works have been able to turn the unexpected into reality. He draws inspiration from everyday trips, animals, objects, and human interactions, turning them into creative motive. Levi often uses hallucinogenic dimensions and effects in shoes, from which the user lingers and questions their own feelings and its meaning. Twenty-four of his artworks represent a diverse range of his iconic creations, including the chewing-gum design worn by singer Fergie in the MV “M.I.L.F.$”. ...

The event is to be held by the Vietnam Cinema Department in co-ordination with the Polish Filmmakers Association and is scheduled to take place in Hanoi from March 11 to March 15 before heading to the central city of Hue from March 15 to March 19, and concluding in Ho Chi Minh City from March 18 to 22. Local audiences will have an opportunity to learn more about Poland, its people, and its culture, especially Polish cinema which is considered to be quite advanced in Europe and throughout the world. The film week aims to strengthen the bilateral friendship between the two countries. The five films on show include Vang Khoi (Solid Gold), Chuyen Tinh Tho San Anh (Paparazzi Love), Ban Sonat Dieu Ky (Sonata), and Vua Dao Tau (The Getaway King).
