Da Nang is set to host a vibrant cultural festival, ‘Da Nang-Republic of Korea Week’, from August 16 to 18 at the Bien Dong (East Sea) Park. This exciting event promises to showcase the best of both cultures with a range of performances, exhibitions, and activities. According to the city’s Department of Foreign Affairs, the opening ceremony will feature art troupes from Da Nang and the Republic of Korea (RoK), as well as a Taekwondo demonstration by students from Keimyung University. The Honam Women’s Nongak troupe, a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage from the RoK, will also grace the stage with their traditional instrument performance and Korean arts.
