In response to inquiries from reporters regarding Vietnam’s stance on the actions of China and the Philippines in the Hoai An, Tri Le, and Cai Vung Reefs in the Truong Sa archipelago, Spokesperson Hang reaffirmed Vietnam’s unwavering position. She asserted that Vietnam possesses irrefutable legal grounds and historical evidence to substantiate its sovereignty over the Truong Sa islands, as governed by international law, including the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS 1982).
