Ngoc Chau wins swimsuit cape vote at Miss Universe 2022

The prize was recently announced on the page of the Miss Universe beauty contest following the grand final held on January 15 in the United States.

Ngoc Chau initially departed for the international competition on December 26, 2022, and put in a series of strong performances at the contest.

Most notably, her sledge mat national costume at the 71st Miss Universe was selected among the Top 10 by prestigious beauty pageant website Missosology.

During the grand final, Chau suffered elimination from prior to the Top 16 round, marking the first time a Vietnamese representative has failed to make the later stages of the competition.

In previous versions of the competition, H’Hen Nie, a Top 5 finisher in 2018, Hoang Thuy, Top 20 in 2019, Khanh Van, Top 21 in 2020, and Kim Duyen, Top 16 in 2021, had all represented Vietnam at the event.

A month-long exhibition telling the story of Vietnamese resilience, creativity, and bravery in a 12-day air defense against the US troops was launched on December 5. Exhibition on the history of Vietnamese lotus flowers opens

The exhibition “Hanh Trinh Di…” or “A Journey…” by painter Nguyen Thị Thuy Huong will open on December 23 at 45 Trang Tien Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. Painter Nguyen Thi Thu Huong with one of her favorite lotus flower artwork. Exhibition spotlights Buddhism in Vietnam
