During the show, held in Thu Duc City, located under Ho Chi Minh City, more than two weeks ago, models showcased scanty ao yem, a traditional Vietnamese bodice, and seductive ao dai, a traditional Vietnamese costume.
The show organizer will face sanctions for violating administrative procedures and spreading offensive images on the Internet, said Hanh.
An outcry of outrage followed the fashion show when images and video clips featuring models wearing provocative clothing circulated on social media, leading the city’s authorities to investigate the show and implement appropriate punishments.
