International Arts Festival Week: A Colorful Extravaganza



Kien Trung Palace is transformed with 3D Mapping technology, creating a mesmerizing visual experience.


The festival attracted over 19,000 international visitors and 81,000 domestic travelers, generating VND159 billion in tourism revenue.


With the theme “Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development,” the festival featured diverse art troupes from eight countries, including France, Belgium, and Vietnam.


Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Thua Thien-Hue provincial People’s Committee, highlighted the success of the festival and announced a series of upcoming art events as part of the Hue Festival 2024.

The light show takes viewers on a culinary journey through Hue, showcasing the city’s delicious food offerings.


Elegant fashion shows featuring the Ao Dai, the traditional long dress of Vietnamese women, added a touch of cultural elegance to the event.


Artists from the Hue Art Theater delivered captivating performances during the closing night, leaving the audience in awe.


A highlight of the week was the massive light show, supported by the French Embassy and the French Institute in Vietnam, which immersed visitors in a magical universe of light and sound.


The Hue International Art Festival Week has solidified its position as one of the most successful cultural events in Hue city, leaving a lasting impression on visitors.

NDO – The "Vietnamese Cultural Heritage 2018" exhibition will take place in Hanoi from November 23 to 25, as one of the cultural events to honour and promote the values of national cultural heritages of various regions, especially the Vietnamese heritages that have been recognised by UNESCO.

NDO – The fifth Vietnam Heritage Photo Contest, themed ‘Vietnamese rivers’, was officially launched by the Vietnam Heritage Magazine in Ho Chi Minh City on August 2.

Exhibition on the history of Vietnamese lotus flowers opens

The exhibition “Hanh Trinh Di…” or “A Journey…” by painter Nguyen Thị Thuy Huong will open on December 23 at 45 Trang Tien Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. Painter Nguyen Thi Thu Huong with one of her favorite lotus flower artwork. Exhibition spotlights Buddhism in Vietnam
