This year, we are thrilled to present the theme, “Pho and AI Technology,” which seamlessly blends Vietnam’s culinary heritage with modern innovation. Through the use of cutting-edge AI technology, visitors will be able to easily locate Pho stalls that align with their personal preferences, offering a unique and personalized dining experience. This also highlights the growing intersection of food and technology, showcasing how these two worlds can come together to create something truly special.

With over 50 Pho stalls representing different regions of Vietnam, attendees will be treated to a diverse array of Pho flavors. While Hanoi’s iconic Pho will take center stage, visitors will also have the rare opportunity to sample Pho from other parts of the country, including Nam Dinh, the highlands, and the southern regions. Each region boasts its own unique ingredients, flavors, and preparation methods, allowing guests to embark on a culinary journey across Vietnam.

Beyond the delicious food, the festival will also feature engaging discussions and performances that delve into the role of Pho in Vietnamese culture. The “Pho Heritage Story Space” will take attendees on a journey through time, exploring the evolution of Pho from its humble beginnings as street food to its current status as a symbol of Vietnamese identity. Additionally, hands-on workshops will be offered, where participants can try their hand at crafting the perfect bowl of Pho and other popular street foods, such as quay (fried dough sticks), which are often served as a side dish with Pho.

The “Pho Festival” is not just about tasting delicious food; it’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and traditions that surround this iconic dish. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, the festival will leave you with a deeper understanding and appreciation for Hanoi’s rich culinary heritage.

Hanoi Pho, renowned both domestically and internationally, has rightfully earned the title of National Intangible Heritage. This recognition not only elevates the status of the dish but also establishes a framework to safeguard and promote the art of Pho, ensuring its legacy for generations to come.
